Are you finding that Facebook ads aren’t delivering results like they used to? Are your post likes being shunned by the Instagram algorithm? Are you bored and just want to know what other people are doing to engage their audience?

I’ll just say it – it may be time for TikTok.

Confession time: I had little interest in TikTok until my 6  year old daughter started talking to me about it (yes, 6!) It’s a social media app that allows users to create and share short 15-second videos.

What does this mean for me personally? It means my 6-year-old is annoyingly going around narrating her life in 15-second increments. (No, she doesn’t actually have a TikTok … she is just doing this.)

What does this mean for your business? You have a new path to reach a highly engaged audience. With over 500 million active users, it is the new go-to app for people to engage in conversation on nearly any topic. So, you will have to develop your niche like any other social media platform, but it’s arguably the most exciting platform for any creator or brand looking to build an audience organically and fast. It doesn’t break the bank either.

And now, Buffer (our favorite social media scheduler) is making it easy to schedule TikTok ahead of time.

Tips To Schedule TikTok Content With Buffer

Buffer is a platform that allows you to manage and schedule your social media in advance. A recent update now enables you to plan, create, and schedule content to get more exposure and engagement on TikTok. Buffer will automatically publish your scheduled content on your behalf.

Here’s how to schedule TikTok on Buffer in 3 simple steps. If you need help creating and scheduling your content, make sure to contact us

  2. Connect TikTok to Buffer – Log into Buffer and click Manage Channels (lower left on desktop) → Connect New Channel → TikTok and follow the prompts.
  3. Create and Schedule Content
    1. Open your Buffer web app and select the TikTok account on the left that you’d like to post to.
    2. Click Create Post on the upper right-hand side of your queue.
    3. Upload your video and add a description. While a description is optional, it is required that you upload one video in order to publish to TikTok.
    4. Once your video is uploaded, click Add to Queue or click the down-arrow to choose a time and date for your post to schedule by clicking Schedule Post.
    5. You’re all set! At the date and time you scheduled your post for, your post will automatically publish to your TikTok account.
