If you’re like us, you’re probably feeling a little overwhelmed by the prospect of keeping up with your social media and business. But what if we told you that there was a way to automate your social media and business so that you could enjoy your vacation without worrying about whether or not your business is doing well?

1. Plan your designs ahead of time, and get a head start on them.

The last thing you want to do is find yourself scrambling at the last minute with no design or inspiration in sight.  You’ll want to know what kind of content works best for your audience, so once you get back from vacation, all you need to do is hit “publish” instead of scrambling around trying to find something funny/interesting/relevant enough for them.

Make sure to plan out your next few weeks’ worth of posts ahead of time, so you can move quickly when it comes time to make them. If you wait until the last minute, it’s easy to get overwhelmed and not make anything at all!

Get an idea of what you want to post, set up a spreadsheet or make some notes in your planner—whatever helps you stay organized. Then, when it comes time for posting, you’ll be ready to go!

2. Schedule posts in advance

Even if it’s just one or two times per week, having a schedule means that even when you’re enjoying your time off, you’ll still be able to keep up with your audience and make sure they know what’s going on with your brand. This can be done through most social media platforms, including Facebook and Instagram, or other apps like Buffer and Hootsuite

Don’t think of this as a burden; think of it as a gift you give yourself. You’ll have time to plan out your content before you even need it, so you can spend less time stressing when you get back from vacation or after work. This will save you valuable time that could be spent on important things

3. Hire a virtual assistant

You might not think that you need one, but let us tell you: if you’re running a business, a virtual assistant can be your best friend. It’s hard enough trying to keep up with the demands of running a business by yourself—you don’t need the added stress of being responsible for your own social media accounts as well.

With a little help from a VA, you can be sure that everything is being handled in a timely manner. Having someone else manage social media for you is an easy way to keep up with it while still focusing on other aspects of running a business. You don’t have to do it all yourself! They can also help with scheduling content, tracking analytics and more!

4. Use lists

Lists are a great way for streamlining your social media experience because they allow you to see everything going on at once without having everything cluttering up one big feed where it would just get lost among all the other posts from people who aren’t relevant at a given moment.(like that friend who always posts about their cats).

PS: you can use lists as filters so that only certain categories of content show up in your main feed

The bottom line: if you want to keep growing your business and take some well-deserved time off, the best thing you can do is automate it, so you don’t need to be constantly managing it.
